News Aggregator / Fleet Transaction Article Writer

News Aggregator / Fleet Transaction Article Writer

ch-aviation services d.o.o.
This is a full-time position with two main responsibilities. As a news aggregator, you will both monitor and evolve our various international newsfeeds - both active and static. You will therefore have an eye for developments in the commercial civil aviation niche as well as a strong interest in global events/current affairs and aviation. A thorough understanding of international geography and geopolitics is a must.

The other part of your job will require you to research and write what we call fleet transaction articles (FTAs). Part of the task will require you to reach out to operators/regulators/brokers across the globe to verify aircraft orders and acquisitions & disposals among others, and to present the information in a pre-set manner. Mother-tongue level English is therefore critical to the role.

These two roles form the cornerstone of our main aviation journalist role. As such, there is the possibility of career growth.

The job itself is ideally suited to an inquiring/curious personality but with an ability to integrate into a tight-knit team. Aside from a disciplined, analytically oriented mindset, you must also be able to work within established guidelines, within set timeframes, and under a supervising editor.

Given the nature of our work, you must have knowledge of commercial aviation to the extent of being an avgeek.
  • Monitor newsfeeds that span 24 hours in various languages and scripts
  • Update said newsfeeds using correct terminology and wordings
  • Monitor various static information sources
  • Research and write FTAs in English
  • Independently research and review aviation-related articles which may or may not be in English;
