The project that will be implemented during 2017 and 2018 in cooperation with prosecutors' offices in Bosnia in Herzegovina aims to improve media and communication capacities of prosecutors' offices and to bring their work closer to the citizens and journalists. Through a series of activities, Mediacentar Sarajevo will help prosecutors' offices to ensure reliable and easily accessible content in order to provide citizens with timely information on their work and activities.

 

Particular attention will be paid to cooperation with prosecutors and spokespersons of prosecutors' offices who will attend training programs intended for strengthening their capacities for gender sensitive communication and for improving their skills for implementation of various outreach programs in communities.

 

Within the project, working process of prosecutors' offices will be presented to the citizens through documentary videos, talk shows and interviews published in media outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In cooperation with media experts, Mediacentar Sarajevo will prepare and publish a handbook for students of journalism and journalists interested in the judicial system, with instructions on professional reporting. The handbook will also tackle topics such as: survivors of violence, children and minority groups.
