During a 15-day workshop under the trainer’s mentorship, participants were in the field every day shooting material on their own and applying the learned technical film terminology.

Mustafa Mustafić’s master workshop was held on November 6-10, 2006 at Mediacentar Sarajevo.
At the beginning of the workshop participants learned about the appearance of film photography and together with the trainer analyzed one of the most influential films of all times – Citizen Kane – which pushed the limits of cinematography and changed the way movies were shot.
Participants then studied camera shooting techniques in theory.
Each participant suggested a theme based on which s/he recorded in the field.
“I shot Vilsonovo promenade and we are now cutting the recorded material. I now applied in practice everything that we discussed in the workshop with the trainer. I used moving frames, hand frames, low camera angle, I tried deep focus. In shooting the material, I applied distance: medium shots, American, medium to close-up,” said Aleksandro Zubčević, NTV Hayat cameraman.
Participants were particularly satisfied with the lecturer and agreed that learning from Mustafa Mustafić was a pleasure.
“The choice of trainer is excellent. I learned from a man who has a lot of experience on film and whose name is associated with well-known works of film. I’m very pleased that such a camera expert knows how to convey his expertise to participants and I think that’s very important for workshops of this kind,” said Dario Novalić, “Start” magazine Director.
Participants received certificates of attendance on completion of the workshop, after which they socialized at a small cocktail party.
Mustafa Mustafić’s master workshop on camera was organized by NetNovinar – Center for Investigative Reporting and Media Education (Founders: Mediacentar Sarajevo & Investigative Journalism Center – CIN, Zagreb).
This is the second commercial master workshop organized by the NetNovinar training center with experts in various fields. Commercial master workshops will continue to be organized in the future.
