Nine journalists from BiH radio stations took part in the training session ‘The Foundations of Investigative Journalism’

Nine journalists from BiH radio stations took part in the training session ‘The Foundations of Investigative Journalism’. The training was held from 15th to 17th May in the Mediacentar Sarajevo.Central themes of the training were local administration and reporting on local issues. The journalists were introduced with the essentials and elements of a journalistic story.

The training themes included:
-finding ideas for an investigative story-finding ideas for an investigative story in press releases or press conferences-organising team work during work on an investigative story -methods of gathering and processing information for stories using computer software.
The trainers were: Saša Leković, an experienced investigative reporter and manager of the NetNovinar Training Centre and Nevena Ršumović, editor of the NetNovinar web portal.
The training was interactive, thus including discussions based on which reporters exchanged suggestions and experiences.

The organiser of the training is the NetNovinar - Centre for investigative journalism and media education of the Mediacentar Sarajevo and Centre for investigative journalism from Zagreb.
