Mediacentar Sarajevo is one of the partners of Ljubljana’s Peace Institute and civil society organizations from the Western Balkans countries (Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) and Turkey on promoting freedom of expression in the media, and supporting investigative journalism in the reform processes toward the EU accession.

 

The EU award for investigative journalism aims at promoting outstanding achievements of investigative journalists from the region and improving the visibility of quality journalism. It will be given each year in each of seven countries from 2015 to 2017.
