The Offshore Energy platform, consisting of online and offline media products and services, reaches thousands of people around the world by delivering expert coverage of several energy sectors and shipping industry, united under the banner of energy transition.

The Role

As an Online news editor/Journalist for Navingo B.V.’s Offshore Energy platform, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality content sourced through various channels and adapted to fit the needs of the targeted audience.
This includes producing content from scratch in English, as well as editing, proofreading, and adapting official media announcements in accordance with Offshore Energy’s editorial guidelines.
You will be part of a team managing various social media channels and implementing marketing strategies designed to maintain and grow the audience base.
The role also entails participating in content strategy and brainstorming sessions with the larger editorial team and optimising content effectiveness by using SEO best practices plus analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with potential clients will also be part of your daily work activities.

Ideal Profile

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language;
Demonstrable excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing;
Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy;
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail;
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in English language, journalism, or communications is a plus;
Previous experience with content creation and marketing is an advantage;
Interest in and familiarity with the offshore energy sector would also be a bonus.
